VR (Virtual Reality) – Passenger Boarding Bridge Operations
Two phases. The user has to place the airbridge on arrival and remove it for departure.
- Objective: The user has to check ramp conditions and operate the airbridge safely per aircraft type. The user has to identify safety hazards and apply emergency procedures. The user sees the score at the end of each session
- Instructor’s controls/ parameters: four lighting conditions (day/ night, clear/ low viz), Two aircraft types (Narrow, Wide), scenarios (easy/ hard)
- Recommended involvement: User can perform 2-3 operations, a total of 15-20 mins
