VR (Virtual Reality) – Aircraft Turnaround Inspection
About the Course
Four phases (before the aircraft’s arrival, just after chocks-on, during loading and unloading, and pre-departure checks). The system randomly inserts 9 to 12 ‘issues’ so every session is unique for each use.
- Objective: The user has to identify safety risks and aircraft damage (due to ground ops). The user sees the score at the end of each session
- Instructor’s controls/ parameters: four lighting conditions (day/ night, clear/ low viz), two aircraft types (Narrow, Wide), scenarios (easy/ hard)
- Recommended involvement: User can perform 2-3 inspections, a total of 20-30 mins
